UNEMPLOYED POOR NIGERIANS TO GET =N= 5,000.00 PAY MONTHLY

The Buhari administration during the weekend declared that plans are ongoing to implement one of its striking campaign promises to pay to each poor and unemployed Nigerian the sum of N5,000.00 ( five thousand naira only ).
   The Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo noted that Government is currently evaluating the best ways to collapse existing cash transfer and social welfare schemes to ensure consistency and alignment.
 In his words " once this is completed, we will implement the first phase of this program, using recognised identification platforms and transparent payment solutions".
  Osinbajo disclosed this at the 10th Year Anniversary Lecture of Crescent University, Abeokuta, Ogun State titled  THE NIGERIAN ECONOMY AND THE FUTURE.
